High quality digital cameras are so cheap and easy to use that just about everybody has them. Unfortunately that ease-of-use can be misleading, and the fact is that the typical convention environment does present some challenges, in terms of properly lighting your subjects, good locations to take your photos, etc. But the challenges are certainly not insurmountable, and armed with some of the same tips and tricks that the pros use, and the right gear, anyone can get really good results in even the most difficult situations. We'll demonstrate these tricks and how to put them to good use.
